Bachelor of Environmental and Conservation Science


Course Details

Integrate environmental science with conservation and rehabilitation ecosystem management to provide solutions for human impacts threatening our ecology, wildlife, water and climate.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: This course consists of 360 credit points. Students will undertake a mix of theoretical and practical courses, consisting of four 15-credit point courses per semester. Students will complete 18 core courses, and 4 Environmental and Conservation Science elective courses from the Landscape Ecology, Climate and Water, Animal Management or Rehabilitation and Restoration streams, and 2 general electives.

This program is available via Online Learning, in combination with one to two weeks (depending on the program) of compulsory on-campus laboratory sessions. These lab sessions are held in semester one and semester two in each year of the program. Students will also be required to complete examinations either on-campus, or at an approved remote exam location in their region, under supervision. You may apply for the Industry Placement Program (IPP) which offers up to 26 weeks of industry based experience. IPP students receive a scholarship payment of up to $15,000.
