Course Details

The Bachelor of Health Science / Bachelor of Business double degree aims to develop a set of complementary and cross-disciplinary skills and knowledge in health and business. Youll explore Australian and international health challenges and examine the physical, psychological and social aspects of health in a variety of settings. Youll also gain core skills and knowledge in business, management and operations to prepare for work in modern organisations.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: Successful completion of the Bachelor of Health Science/ Bachelor of Business requires students to complete units of study to the value of 400-500 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.

Swinburne's Work Integrated Learning program provides students with opportunities to gain invaluable skills and confidence in knowing that they have what it takes to land a job in their field by graduation. Students can also earn credit towards their degree. Choose from 6- or 12-month professional placements, professional internships, industry-linked projects, industry study tours and accreditation placements. Note: Some Work Integrated Learning opportunities are not available to international students due to visa restrictions. Please note that due to government regulations, international students holding a student visa are not able to undertake Professional Placements in this course.
